Key clip USB clip parametrizable
prusaprinters

This design was inspired by RaQic's Key Clip (https://www.printables.com/de/model/85579-key-clip). As I Primarily need it to attach all my USB-sticks to a keyring for the Computer backpack, it was way too big.

So I designed my own one in Freecad and made it parametrizable.

There is a table in Freecad where you may adjust the length (Groesse), the width (Breite) and the thickness (Dicke).

Currently, it is designed that the width and the thickness is adjusted automatically depending on the length. But you may override that of course.

There are some sizes as stl models, from 15mm to 50mm.

The model can be printed without support. Best printed in ABS or PETG, as PLA may be a bit too brittle for the task.

The inside bar is printed outwards, so the clip will have a good preloaded spring tension. Therefore, you need to pull the bar inwards after printing to get the clip finished. Should work without breaking it on ABS and PETG, I did not test it with PLA.

Let me know if you have any comments, proposals to improve the design or just want a special size and not want to fiddle around with Freecad.
