Key Cam 3D Stereo Mount
thingiverse
Rewritten text: This helmet holder is inspired by jfpion's key cam holder on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:39890). Follow their instructions before proceeding! The idea here is to use two 40$ Keycam 808 #16 cameras for 3D stereo filming. Modifications include merging jfpion's design and making it printable without support. To assemble, glue the center piece (upside down) into the holder, ensuring it doesn't fall out easily. The main plate has been reduced in size, but you can use the original one if desired. Only 'center piece A' is required; for a 40mm M5 absence, use 'center piece B' with two shorter screws instead. Awaiting delivery of 3D glasses, I plan to merge the two camera files into side-by-side 3D video format for viewing with the free 'Bino player'. Coordinating the start of both recordings may be a challenge.
