My Keurig coffee maker consistently struggles with standard-sized cups due to a low shelf that causes coffee to splatter everywhere when brewed. This issue arises from the significant distance between the nozzle and the cup. To resolve this problem, I created a customizable cup lifter that elevates the cup by approximately 50 mm, preventing spills and messes. The design features pins that securely latch onto the existing shelf, ensuring it stays in place without obstructing removal for taller cups. Users can easily adjust the base's height to accommodate their preferred cup size if needed. The two interlocking pieces fit snugly together via a press-fit mechanism. For added convenience, I 3D printed this design using PLA, which is easy to clean but may undergo warping during dishwasher use.
