Keurig 2.0 Drip Tray Riser
thingiverse
After our previous Keurig machine stopped working, we replaced it with a new version 2.0 model. My wife discovered that her large thermal cups no longer fit under the brew spout (even after removing the drip tray), as the new machine was significantly shorter than its predecessor. She purchased the Keurig base with the drawer to raise the machine up higher, hoping it would provide more clearance. However, Keurig's intention is that you still have the drip tray resting on this base. You can position the brewer on the edge to gain more space, but if you do, you won't be able to use the drip tray as it lacks support underneath. The solution was to design a riser for the drip tray that could rest against the side of the drawer base and support the drip tray. Now my shorter mugs are at the right brewing height, and she can simply slide the drip tray with riser out of the way for her tall tumblers. If you're using something else to raise your brewer, this design should still work - just adjust the vertical Z axis (and only the Z axis) accordingly. The model is currently set at a height of 98mm. PLA material should be sufficient for this project, as it's unlikely that you'll get much hot coffee on it. March 26, 2018 - We replaced the version with 2.1, which lines up slightly better and has holes for the original Keurig drip tray that extend through the entire riser. This should allow it to work better when scaled vertically for different heights if you have your brewer on a base other than the Keurig-brand drawer base.
