Kettlebell cup/pen holder
thingiverse
Here is a Cross-fit gym award made from a single printed piece, with basic and .obj files included for reference. I designed it using 123 Design software, which produced the necessary files for printing. The print turned out well with supports in place, although some time may be required to remove them from the text area. To achieve better results, I found it more effective to slice the kettle-bell design into separate plates within 123 Design and then print each one individually. This allowed me to pause the print job and change filament colors during the lettering process. After bonding the plates together, I sanded down any imperfections and treated them with an Acetone vapor bath for ABS materials. While I have never used the customizer feature in 123 Design, users can easily download the software for free and make their own text modifications by simply slicing off the existing text.
