Kermit the Frog, a beloved Muppet character created by Jim Henson, serves as the straight man protagonist of numerous Muppet productions, including Sesame Street and The Muppet Show, as well as other television series, films, specials, and public service announcements throughout his years. No special supports are needed to print Kermit's model. If you have the correct filament colors, no painting is required either. The completed model stands 140mm tall. Enjoy building your own Kermit! _______________________________________________ Printing Settings Printer: FlashForge Creator X Rafts: Not necessary Supports: None required Resolution: .2mm Infill: 10% Refer to the notes below for helpful printing and assembly instructions. _______________________________________________ Building the Model Colors (there are no multiple printed pieces) Black: eye_black_right, eye_black_left, mouth_black Red: mouth_top, mouth_bottom Green: head, body White: eye_white_right, eye_white_left Yellow: ruff Pink: tongue _______________________________________________ Printing and Assembly Tips Printing Tips: 1. No supports are required, and I printed all the pieces without a brim or raft. 2. The parts should fit nicely when printed cleanly or with a slight first layer squish. Assembly Tips: 1. The left/right black eye pieces are interchangeable. I post all my parts exactly as modeled, even if they are duplicated. 2. Position the ruff on the body, noting that the ruff should sit comfortably over the shoulders. 3. **Important:** The mouth_top part is printed flat, but the roof of the mouth is curved. Glue the mouth_bottom to the head first, then try and bend/flex the mouth_top piece so it fits the roof of the mouth a bit. You may need to hold this piece up while the glue is setting. 4. The tongue fits into a slight groove in the mouth_bottom piece. The mouth_black piece should be simply centered left/right and placed as far back on the mouth_top piece. The points of the mouth_black piece should point forward. I wanted to keep the mouth_top piece as thin and flexible as possible, so no indent was added for the mouth_black piece. 5. Refer to the assembly diagram for putting the model together. The model is meant to be glued.
