thingiverse
This is more of an artistic exploration than a practical fruit bowl design. Calculating the various diameters of the circular segment and inner circle was a fun challenge. In my mind, I envisioned a brim that's slightly higher, but using the bending method from the spiral bowl required some creative problem-solving to achieve the desired look. Perhaps someone will take this concept and create a more functional design. The build process took place on a desktop CNC machine at Stepcraft's workshop, where 9 mm birch plywood was precision-cut with a spiral-toothed 1.5 mm flute. The components were carefully glued together, and a clear coat was applied to seal the surfaces. For more innovative designs, visit zenziwerken.de/en/.
