This is primarily a mathematical exercise than an actual practical fruit bowl design. I simply enjoyed calculating various diameters of circular segments and inner circles. In my mind, the rim might be slightly higher, but I had to employ the bending method used for the spiral bowl to achieve even a semblance of a plate appearance. Perhaps someone will create a variant that functions better. The build was executed on a desktop CNC machine by Stepcraft from 9 mm birch plywood using a 1.5 mm flute with spiral teeth. I joined the parts together and applied a clear coat to seal the surfaces. For more innovative designs, visit https://www.zenziwerken.de/en/.
