The Kerf Table Lamp is an interactive, open design that can be downloaded and assembled using MDF and Arduino for lighting control. This lamp responds to hand movements via ultrasonic sensors, allowing users to turn it on/off or adjust brightness. A tutorial includes four kerf bending patterns for diverse light moods from the conical structure. The project was part of a Massey University Industrial Design paper at New Zealand's Wellington Fab Lab and designed by Glenn Catchpole, Janelle Streater, Justin Lim, and Jia Fang.
