My first project as a designer of spacecraft models in training was successful because I can now produce high-quality parts for my mini shuttle. To print larger than 10 centimeters ensures that all features remain sharp and clear on its surface, and if I stick to layers no thicker than 0.3 millimeter it doesn't lose an overly unpleasant appearance with unsightly layers.
