This is a highly detailed scale model designed to be one twentieth the size of the legendary Kenworth W900. I carefully crafted this truck using Inventor, relying on photographs of the original vehicle and some basic blueprints found online for inspiration. I created this model in my free time while working as an intern at Paccar, where I was fortunate enough to work alongside the teams that design Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks. Each component can be easily printed and assembled using common hardware store items such as screws and strong adhesive. I made certain to include a range of customizable parts, including different side mirrors, exhaust options, rear fenders, and an optional low-roof bed. Here are the necessary components for assembly: - Approximately 100 #5 wood screws, cut to length using a pair of scissors (available at Canadian Tire) - Strong adhesive for the Marker lite, front grill, and mirrors - A screwdriver - Two small hinges, each measuring 3/4 inches wide (available at Canadian Tire) The following components need to be printed in specific quantities: - One cab - One hood - One grill - One front bumper - One rear bumper - One fifth wheel - One front axle - Two rear axles - Five cross members - Eight rear wheels - Two front wheels - Ten tires - Five Marker lite units - One air filter - One mirrored air filter - One footstep - One mirrored footstep - Two fuel tanks - Two washers (used for exhaust assembly) - One or more exhaust units (your choice of design) - One or more mirrored exhaust units (mirrored version of the previous option) - One front frame rail - One mirrored front frame rail (mirrored version of the previous option) - One rear frame rail - One mirrored rear frame rail (mirrored version of the previous option) - Two fender components - One mirror unit - One mirrored mirror unit For the bed option, you will need to print: - One bed component - Replace the front frame rail with a custom-designed front frame rail for the bed option - Replace the mirrored front frame rail with a custom-designed mirrored front frame rail for the bed option All STL parts are placed in the same location as I printed them, so you should have no issues with assembly.
