The adapter plate to mount Kenwood V71a head on Lido Mount LM-300-AMP (http://www.lidomounts.com/kenwood-ham-radio-mounts/LM-300-Kenwood.html) is designed for a precise fit. However, the original version of this plate had one major flaw: it was only 2.8mm thick. Unfortunately, this proved to be insufficient when exposed to direct sunlight in a car over the course of two days. The result was that the plate began to slide excessively on and off the mount, making it unreliable for use. To address this issue, the design team created an updated version with a base plate thickness of 2.9mm. While this change provides a more solid foundation, it also introduces a new problem: the adapter now requires some force to be applied in order to secure it properly on the mount. **Print Settings** * **Printer:** Prusa I3 * **Rafts:** No rafts are used in the print process. * **Supports:** The print does not employ any supports. * **Resolution:** A high level of detail is achieved with a resolution of 0.3mm. * **Infill:** To ensure maximum structural integrity, the infill percentage is set to 100%.
