Kenwood Radio Belt Clip Quick Release
thingiverse
I got fed up with my stock Kenwood NX-210 K2 belt clip constantly getting in the way of my pockets and falling off with even a slight bump. It's also crucial for me to be able to quickly, easily, and one-handedly detach the radio from my belt and switch channels at will. I've been dreaming about something like this for over 10 years now that I've been using this radio for work, and finally having a 3D printer has made it possible to turn my dream into reality. This design is meant to be fitted onto a 5.11 tactical webbing or other similar belts, although I'm confident it would also work with any belt that's no more than 3/16" thick and 1.5" tall. I'm not sure how universal belt clip hole patterns are, but this design has a standard 30mm hole spacing, center to center. I designed this to be usable with both the standard 2000mAh and extended 2500mAh batteries.
