Kenner Xwing Replacement Wings
thingiverse
These wings are simple to print and assemble, staying remarkably close to their original size and shape. Print two hinges, then insert a metal rod into them before adding all four wings and aligning them carefully. Hold the wings together with rubber bands while you drip thin CA along the hinges, securing the wings firmly to the hinge joints. Be sure to pay attention to the T and B markings on the wings as you work. Next, insert the wing set into the R2 mechanism with caution. No supports are needed for this model, but it's a good idea to use 100% infill on the wing tips to prevent the cannons from breaking off their holders. In Cura, you can adjust the "per Model Setting" block to apply 100% infill only to the tip sections of the wings. Now you're ready to enjoy your finished model!
