Meet a Real Chip of the Old Block at Ken’s Fish Bar Forgot the obnoxiously named The Famous Olley’s Fish Experience on Norwood Road. Ken’s chips are the best in Herne Hill —proper thick cut and stodgy, they’re also somehow deliciously golden and crunchy. And when it comes to his fish, expect melt-in-the-mouth cod wrapped in delicate, crisp batter that verges on tempura. Ken’s also does proper chippy extras such as saveloy, curry sauce, and mushy peas.
