Ken Onion Blade Grinding Attachment Leveling Surface Adapter

I've been using the Work Sharp Ken Onion Blade Grinding Attachment for several weeks now, and it's proven to be an exceptional adapter for the base tool. I find it much easier than relying on a standalone sharpener. One area where I initially struggled was keeping the knife level as I raised it from the leveling plate to the sanding belt. To enhance my accuracy, I designed this slide-on jig that raises the leveling plate by approximately 1 1/4 inches or 2 cm. I experimented with higher and lower settings but found that lower wasn't particularly useful, while higher got in the way of some passes with larger knife handles. The jig slides on and off for convenient storage or added comfort. For printing, lay it flat in the print bed with the notch pointing upwards, and you won't need any supports (that was a crucial aspect of the design!). This orientation also allows the layer lines to be configured optimally for maximum durability.
