Keltisches Hügelgrab (rekonstruiert)
sketchfab
A massive Celtic burial mound sits at the edge of town (48° 53′ 20″ N, 9° 0′ 35″ O), meticulously reconstructed after excavations. Reaching a height of approximately six meters and boasting a diameter of sixty meters, it ranks among the largest of its kind. In 550 BC, a "prince" from the Hallstatt culture was buried here with great fanfare and rich burial offerings. The location of the tomb was carefully chosen: From the mound, one has a clear view to the east of the Hohenasperg, the suspected prince's seat. The burial chamber measures 4.70 meters by 4.70 meters and is made of oak wood. This chamber is surrounded by another and the entire structure is covered with a fifty-ton stone package for protection from grave robbers. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keltenmuseum_Hochdorf
