keltec RDB dust cover
thingiverse
I made this because I believe the RDB is one of the better designs of our time. To be used with an armalite-10 dust cover. I designed this to work with PETG, but PLA is also great! If you end up using my design, think about buying me a cup of coffee? I drink the cheap stuff, but unfortunately the rounds I used to test this out were not. You'll need some of your own screws as well (M3-0.5 x 12mm). I recommend twisting the dust cover spring twice upon install. prints fine with a few walls and ~15% infill, but up to you! Supports necessary. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCf3DO2qmtMm_mKAhJWn4QDw/featured ^videos around dust cover I also added my old design that clips in and Zip ties down (the one in the video). Works great! a bit easier to open. Recommend printing that one side-ways. This one missed a few upgrades. Won't work with adjustable stock versions of the RDB. The flat bottom file is easier to print. I'd recommend doing that one. Install: press down hard to get screws to align! If you printed it right, you shouldn't have any worry of things breaking. PS: Horizontal expansion in cura will cause the part to not work. If your issue is getting the dust cover rod in for the old design, take a small drill bit to it (if the rod is loose, no worries, the spring will hold it). The flatBottom dust cover has a bit wider holes for the rod.
