KEF LSX Desktop speaker stand (15 degree incline)
thingiverse
Hey there! I didn't want to shell out $120 for a pair of speaker stands, so I decided to 3D print them instead - all for about $1.50! Remixed DoMeASolid's desktop speaker stand design. Cut off the rear support piece at the back and adjusted the angle of incline to 15 degrees. This fits my KEF LSX speakers perfectly, aiming the tweeters directly at my ears when I'm seated at my desk (I'm 169cm tall, if that helps!) for a more immersive soundstage and real-life feel. Printed at 10% infill using generic Black PLA. I haven't found any reason to increase the infill; 10% should be sufficient if you're using the same speakers as me! Tip: Place your speakers on some isolating material, like the foam in the pictures, to isolate the speakers and prevent unwanted resonances from affecting your desk. (Kindly refrain from selling this design online.)
