Keepsake Box

Keepsake Box

I was thrilled reimagining the Doric Column Container into this Romanesque keepsake box that I created a new design based on its classic lines. It should print flawlessly without any supports, but I did print the example shown with zig-zag at 25% and it came off very easily, although your bed adhesion must be spot-on since flat, square objects with a large footprint like this one tend to pull up hard at the corners, which can also be seen in the example print. The lid turned out perfectly, however. No hinges, no screws are needed, just four tapered pockets in the corners of the box and matching pins in the lid to keep it securely in place.
