Keep Calm, Closed.!
thingiverse
The device was created to help people who frequently question whether they turned off their home's gas supply. This leads to a lot of anxiety and uncertainty when something might go wrong. With this object, the user can carry the supply lever with them since it only comes out if the gas is closed, providing relief from tension due to insecurity just by having it in sight. The product was designed using Rhino software with parameterization of the file, allowing for customization to different types of gas valves. The structure can also be modified to fit various wall projections, enabling different horizontal configurations with a minimum space requirement of 4 centimeters for proper operation. The model was printed with PLA filament of 1.75mm thickness and a layer height of 0.3mm using a peak of 0.8mm. It's recommended to keep the hotbed at a temperature of 50 degrees Celsius as the object's height doesn't favor adhesion to it. The bond between the device and the wall can be achieved with silicone adhesives since the structure weighs less than 50 grams. However, these adhesives should be relatively strong to prevent removal of the lever when in use.
