This is a remix of Dhien2's stain relief, reimagined with a few key differences. My design adheres to the same concept as the original but has been tailored to accommodate a 1/4" glass bed with a BuildTak print surface. To achieve optimal results, I've positioned my glass bed approximately one inch back from the Y's metal platform plate, thereby allowing the EZABL's probing pattern to be centered on the Y axis of the glass with precision. This setup remains secure thanks to its press-on fit, although it's not excessively tight – merely snug enough to provide a reliable hold. Beyond serving as a cable strain relief, this design also plays a crucial role in preventing cables from getting snagged on the Y motor. While occasional accidents can still occur, this safeguard provides an added layer of protection against such mishaps. It's essential to note that this part does not grasp both the metal mounting platform plate and the glass simultaneously; rather, it securely attaches to the 1/4" glass and BuildTak surface exclusively. With a few days, I plan to design its counterpart. For optimal printing results, ABS is recommended.
