Keeb.io Iris custom standoffs (Laser)
thingiverse
My coworker recently built a keeb.io Iris keyboard and he needed some standoff feet. We decided to laser-cut some plexi-glass for it, but the local fablab only had 3mm in stock, so we required five layers. The original design from keeb.io's github was not designed with multiple layers in mind, making it a huge waste of material if we tried to laser-cut it that way. The second image shows a comparison between the original design and my remix. This design can be cut from 3mm plexi-glass, using ten copies of each piece (five for each side) on a single sheet of A4 paper only. Since I also included a picture of the transparent backside, which was not designed by me but rather added along with the other files, you'll find it available on the github page at https://github.com/keebio/iris-case.
