KCD4 Switch Box

KCD4 Switch Box

thingiverse

This small box is perfect for storing a KCD4 Switch, along with two 7mm wires, allowing you to easily create a remote switch for a power strip. I use it to turn my desk on and off simultaneously, ensuring that I never leave my soldering iron plugged in overnight or during vacations. The box includes a wire clamp to help organize the cables neatly, running them smoothly into and out of the enclosure. To assemble this project, you'll need two M4x20 socket head bolts, two M4 nuts, and one M4x20 wood screw. It's essential to note that this device is specifically designed for use with 7mm wires. When installing the KCD4 Switch, make sure to remove the plastic retainer clip to create a gap of at least 10mm. Also, cut off the quarter circles on one side of the switch's lip; if you don't, it won't fit properly inside the enclosure.
