During the month of June, I spent time couchsurfing between friends and family's homes, eagerly awaiting the day when I would finally have my own place. As soon as I found a potential new location with some close friends, however, I encountered an obstacle: the current resident refused to budge, so I politely asked if I could get ahold of the room's dimensions. In order to keep myself occupied and learn a new skill at the same time, I decided to create this model using SketchUp, giving me an outlet for my deep-seated desire to own a home.
