I fretted about the durability of the USB Type C port on my KBDFans KBD75, since it's merely mounted to the PCB and exposed through a substantial hole in the case, without any protective grommet. To alleviate my concerns, I conceptualized and 3D printed a custom insert to reinforce the port. It fits securely in place. This design was created using Tinkercad.
