The small rectangular base is home to a full-bodied figurine of a boy carrying a large bucket on a dolly. The bucket is actually an ink container. This piece was crafted by the Prussian Royal Iron Foundry in Gliwice. It was created sometime between 1830 and 1850. The figurine is made from iron that has been coated with black patina, which gives it a nice contrast to the smoothness of the figurine. It stands at 13 cm tall, 17.7 cm wide, and 8 cm deep. Today, this piece can be found in the collection of the Museum of Art and Crafts in Gliwice.
