Kayak handle with 12mm rope hole
thingiverse
One of the handles on our kayak had snapped off, likely breaking at some point. Unable to find a suitable replacement here, I took matters into my own hands by designing a handle using the online tool www.tinkercad.com - an extremely useful resource! The rope hole is 12mm in diameter and the entire assembly measures 100mm long. You can easily scale up or down if you require a smaller or larger hole to accommodate your specific type of rope. To add extra strength, it's probably best to print this with at least three perimeter layers. Use this at your own risk; it might not withstand harsh conditions such as water and direct sunlight for very long.
