Disassembling the Center Pole of an Advanced Elements AirFusion Kayak is Easy with this Tool. The center pole on an Advanced Elements AirFusion kayak can be tough to take apart, especially when it's packed with sand and water from a surfing mishap. But this clever tool makes disassembly easier by holding down the pin securely and offering a larger, non-cylindrical gripping surface. To use the tool, simply align it with the pole edge and use the circular cutout to rotate into alignment before attaching the tool. I used a 6mm x 0.8mm M5 screw to keep the pin in place; it sticks out about 1-2 millimeters beyond the cylindrical wall. The tool was printed on an RigidBot using eSun transparent red PETG.
