This is a wonderful horizontal spinning spool it works well and is easy to print! i used paracord for line on it because its thinner and is strong! enjoy! UPDATE!! 6/3/18 So i went ahead and modified it to have 4 locking positions via notches on the spool and a small locking pin on the spool guide. I also added a slot so you can slide the guide back and forth and made the guide a bit taller and bit longer. The spool holder also got a bit of an overhaul it got 2 small rectangles on it, so it can hold the guide in place when you lock it down to prevent it from spinning. If you have any idea let me know and i can work on making a modified design for you!
