It is an original model designed for three-dimensional printing. Due to its non-levelled surface, it needs to be printed flat and in a way that allows for parallel layers to build upon each other, otherwise the final result may suffer from inconsistencies. To improve the stability of this model during 3D printing, Preston M created another version called Kayak.thing which features an added support structure placed centrally under the bow of the kayak, helping it to sit steadily on the build plate throughout the entire process.
