This was designed to protect the neoprene fork covers from being torn by the plastic tube covers. As the tubes slides up and down, the plastic fork protectors are sometimes touching the outer tube and thus scratching on the neoprene covers. This will make a hole in them quite quickly. This plastic holder is designed to keep the neoprene covers in place and at the same time to protect them from being torn by the plastic tube covers. Made two designs, one for M5x30 screws for secure hold, and the second one for 8mm wide zip ties if you prefer thinner and lighter, but less secure hold.
