I've been giving my 2000 ZR-7F a brand new look after taking a tumble, and while rebuilding it, I scored a sweet deal on a fuel sensor from a wrecked 2006 ZR-7S. Although it looked identical to the one I needed, it didn't fit like a glove. So, I took matters into my own hands and created an adapter that can be easily printed at home or machined with precision.
