Kawasaki Vulcan Phone Mount w/Galaxy S7 Edge holder

I wanted a way to safely mount my cell phone on my motorcycle after my Garmin GPS stopped working, so I needed a reliable solution. This design fits Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager handlebars and comes in two parts: one attaches to the bar itself and the other securely holds my phone. The latter piece is easy to attach using a single 3mm X 10 flat head screw and four locating pins that you print yourself. The handlebar mount has an embedded M3 nut inserted during printing, which requires pausing at 4.6mm, adding the nut, then resuming the print. For Prusa I3 printers, this can be done by inserting a color change command (M600) or using the Prusa Color Print web page to automate it. To keep the mount in place on the handlebar without damaging it, use two zip-ties and Gecko Strip tape. This design also allows for creating different phone adapters using a straightforward template with standard mounting pegs and patterns. The adapter plate included here is specifically designed for a Galaxy S7 Edge paired with a Tech21 Evo Frame case. The phone adapter model is completely parametric, meaning you can easily modify it to fit any other phone by changing just a few parameters. If you're interested in using this Fusion 360 model, send me a message and I might make it available for your use.
