Long ago, I misplaced the trip meter reset knob of my vintage KZ1100 motorcycle. However, I found an accurate replacement online that worked flawlessly. The model was created using 3ds Max 2014 software and later sliced in Rep G. A variety of slice profiles from whpthomas on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/whpthomas/designs) were utilized, significantly enhancing the capabilities of my 3D printer. Printed at a resolution of 100 microns, the knob stands only 34mm tall. In an attempt to further refine the details, I even printed it at a higher resolution of 50 microns; however, the difference was minimal considering the increased print time by an hour.
