The Kavetto tool holder system relies on a set of hardened mounting points (Kavetto Mounts) that can be easily installed on the chassis of the Replicator 2 and 2X, as well as other printers that use similar construction methods. While the mounting system has been extensively tested on Replicators, its versatility also makes it compatible with other types of printers. Note: Successful installation requires the purchase of M5x14 bolts to replace the standard-issue bolts, which can be sourced from McMaster (http://www.mcmaster.com/#95263A360). Once the mounting points are securely attached, the tool keepers can be arranged in any desired configuration. The latches that come pre-printed with the Mounts file fit snugly into bolt holes and feature markings denoted as R (right) and L (left) to facilitate correct placement. These markings should face inward, making them invisible after installation, which ensures proper operation. The latches can be folded downward and snap securely into place, preventing attachments from coming loose accidentally. The Kavetto Tool Holder System includes a variety of versatile attachment points that allow users to organize their tools with ease: • The Fan Attachment accepts most small items, such as files, markers, knives, Dremel bits, and screwdrivers. • The Box can accommodate miscellaneous tools, like flashlights, toothbrushes, and other small accessories. • The Hook is ideal for securing rags or tools that come equipped with lanyards. • The Spooler Attachment holds a spool of filament and should be installed on the uppermost two back holes to accommodate multiple spools without obstruction. Please note that this attachment is not designed for installation on the front of the machine. Installation instructions are straightforward: no support material is required, but the Kavetto_Tool_Mounts file must be printed with raft support, while the other files include attached helper disks to minimize printing complexity and time.
