Kataraman (with impeller) - spiral vase printable
thingiverse
The boat initially steered like a tipsy sailor when driven with an impeller; thus, a kataraman was designed for better directional stability. Testing this new design, a larger bath tub was used. Oliver's impeller-truck drive design was employed again. Print the kataraman with spiral vase method for a smooth surface and 1.5 mm thickness. Use layer height of 0.3 mm and width of 0.6 mm when printing. If scaling down, adjust width to avoid perimeter gaps that may halt continuous printing. Exercise caution when reaching the nose, gradually lower temperature and speed.
