Commissioned in January 2020, I set out to create a low poly rendition of the original dragon character, one specifically designed for seamless integration into a Super Mario 64 rom hack. The challenge was clear: distill the essence of this iconic creature into a simplified yet recognizable form that would thrive within the game's pixelated landscape.
