Çeşme is located on the Kasımpaşa Hasköy Road (Zindanarkası Square - Seferikoz Mosque opposite). In 1993, it was excavated from beneath the ground and restored by the Beyoğlu Municipality to its original location. The original structure is a classical-style fountain with a cubic body made of cut stone. According to the inscription on the fountain, Süleyman Paşa did not build it but instead renovated and reconstructed it. This has resulted in the addition of baroque elements to the otherwise classical design.
