Kappa Printer Stabilizer
thingiverse
When the KAPPA Z+ 3D Printer's bed shifts, the top of the printer can shift significantly, especially when it is fully loaded. To address this issue, I designed a stabilizer that attaches directly to the front of the 'L' base and features four 4mm sticky rubberized feet at its bottom to minimize movement. To accommodate the added feet, the stabilizer plate is constructed with a thickness of 4mm. This arrangement ensures a stable connection between the printer and the surface it sits on. Two versions of the design are included in the Sketchup files: Version 1.2 boasts rounded edges that extend the stabilization capabilities further than its predecessor, Version 1.0. Since implementing Version 1.0, I have achieved impressive results with no noticeable wobbling or movement from the printer's bed.
