Kapellbrücke - Switzerland
myminifactory
Welcome to Lucerne! The Kapellbrücke, literally Chapel Bridge, spans the river Reuss in central Switzerland. Built in 1365, it stands as Europe's oldest wooden covered bridge and the world's oldest surviving truss bridge. As a symbol of the city and one of Switzerland's top tourist draws, this historic landmark is steeped in history! Named after St. Peter's Chapel nearby, the bridge boasts a unique feature - its interior paintings dating back to the 17th century (Wikipedia). MiniWorld 3D is thrilled to bring this captivating model to life, also representing Switzerland in our Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup Collection. This meticulously crafted model was designed from scratch by Daniel Muradás using Autodesk Fusion 360, and we're excited to give credit where it's due - spreading culture and education!
