Mount your camera securely on top of the kite string's fixed point, making sure not to obstruct the lens in any way. Lock down two distinct points along the length of the kite string for optimal tension before entering Interval Mode on your digital camera. To capture horizon shots or high-angle photography, adjust the camera's position accordingly. It should be relatively easy to modify this method to work with a GoPro action camera instead. First and foremost, snap together the mount and its corresponding backing piece. Take a 5mm screw and fasten the rail directly to the mount.
