Kansas State University Powercat Extruder Visualizer
thingiverse
This is a pretty impressive extruder visualizer, despite its size. It still functions remarkably well unless the printer performs some extremely fast extrude-retract switches, at which point it becomes somewhat uncoordinated. However, this isn't really a problem - after all, that's not what it's primarily designed for. Like most extruder visualizers, you'll need to obtain a small neodymium magnet, approximately 3/8" in diameter. I managed to find mine as part of a pack of 10 at Home Depot in the fasteners section. I printed my model using TIANSE Violet/Blueviolet and Hatchbox White PLA filaments.
