Kanohi Rrend, Mask Of Dissolution

The Kanohi Rrend is the dark opposite to the Mask Of Fusion, created in an attempt to adapt a Makuta's natural Kaita Dissolution ability into a Kanohi power. The experiment proved more successful than its makers anticipated. Not only could the mask separate beings who'd been fused together, but it also proved capable of separating materials within an individual being or object. The mask's power scales with the wearer's understanding of a target; a user with a firm understanding of metalsmithing could disarm an opponent by causing their weapons or armour to splinter into their original components, while a user with a strong grasp of anatomy could kill a being instantly by separating their mechanical parts from their organic ones. In designing this mask, I used elements of Galva's Mask Of Fusion as the base. Karzahni's famous patchwork Olisi was also a major influence on this design. With the mask's power revolving around separating or splitting other things, I wanted it to appear that the mask was being influenced by its own power, splintering and peeling apart. Included here are two versions of the mask, one with cracks and one without.
