Kangspion

When I embarked on this project, it was nearing Halloween, prompting me to create a terrifying creature that would merge two distinct species into a new breed of animal. I typically initiate my work by sketching out ideas on paper, allowing myself to grasp the shape and form the character can take before diving into computer design. Following a brainstorming session where I pondered which animals could be fascinating to combine, I decided to fuse a kangaroo with a scorpion, dubbing this specimen Kangspion. Both animals possess remarkable strength and share similar physical characteristics, leading me to envision a hybrid version of them. After producing several sketches and iterations, I settled on the design for the Kangspion and proceeded to ZBrush to create the initial mesh. Utilizing Dynamesh, I shaped the overall form of the character, followed by ZRemeshing and U/V Mastering before delving into detailed sculpting.
