Mounting the Kanex HDMI to VGA Adapter - A Step-by-Step Guide. First things first, this is a straightforward project that requires minimal effort and resources. In my case, I needed to attach the adapter to the ceiling above my projector for a seamless Apple TV setup. To accomplish this task, I utilized a wall mount designed specifically for the Kanex HDMI to VGA adapter. A quick examination of the device revealed screw holes that are ideally suited for #6 counter sunk machine screws, although I found that #8 screws worked equally well in this scenario. Measuring approximately 28mm apart on center, these screw holes allow for easy integration with existing two gang boxes within ceiling tiles. Why bother investing in an HDMI projector when you can repurpose a reliable device like the Kanex HDMI to VGA adapter? It's cheaper, more efficient, and gets the job done without breaking the bank. Designing this Mount: To bring my design vision to life, I relied on Google SketchUp 2014 (thanks for the license!) to carefully measure the dimensions of the Kanex adapter.
