Kanban EV - Car Assembly Tray
thingiverse
Eagle Gryphon does a stellar job with their Lacerda series, but the one element I found lacking with Kanban EV was the Assembly tray that housed all the cars. As such, I've recreated the tray suitable for the build space I had available on my Prusa (210mmx210mm). A few notes: 1) This build requires 8 small round magnets that are 4mmx2mm to be pressed into the slots 2) The reason the font is in reverse is because I like textture my build plate produces on the bottom, so I flip the letters upon install to have some contrast. Feel free to rotate as per your preference 3) This does fit in the box as a replacement for the gray plastic tray. The plastic tray cover does fit as with the original tray. That said, I might recommend shaving a mm off of the end without 'KANBAN' so as to provide it just a bit of play (it's somewhat tight as is). 4) The pace car pops up nicely for my fingers when sliding down against the tail end wall of the cubby, but I have pretty spindly fingers so folks might want to cut out a bit more space to accommodate. 5) You can two-tone the print like I did by doing a filament swap at around 38% for the larger tray, and 40% for the smaller tray. Doing so will give your cars a contrasted backing, instead of plain white (or whatever other filament you use for the larger tray) Have fun!
