A carved scene depicting three figures and two hieroglyph block areas is prominently displayed. The artifact sits atop a cement block, resting in a wooden cradle within the Museo Nacional de Arqueología y Etnología in Guatemala City. Researchers from the University of South Florida, Travis Doering and Lori Collins, meticulously documented the piece using triangulation scanning techniques. Their efforts resulted in an impressive 3D model showcasing the intricate carved surface details with shading and rendering effects achieved through ambient occlusion.
