Kama Coins from Wakfu Anime
thingiverse
Kamas are the official currency in the Wakfu universe, where cunning characters like Enotroph would be impressed by counterfeit coins crafted from machine-made materials. They won't fool Ruel Stroud's keen eye for detail but would surely capture the imagination of Wakfu fans worldwide. To craft these authentic-looking kamas, simply use your favorite printing material and color palette to create striking visuals that would even make cosplayers proud. When I printed in PLA with a layer height of 0.2mm and shell layers at 0.8mm, my prints turned out great. To avoid gaps in the top/bottom layers, I stuck with this printing setup, which gave me reliable results. I did experience some stringing issues on occasion, particularly where there was no support. I made every effort to create a solid design that could withstand being printed in one piece but unfortunately encountered these challenges. In hindsight, adding supports only worsened the issue; hence, I resorted to printing just half of the coin's bottom portion and sanding it flat before gluing two pieces together for a flawless finish. However, I found this process rather time-consuming and opted for an alternative approach. Instead, I decided to print in gold-colored PLA filament, which yielded an exceptional outcome that surpassed all expectations.
