The maximum rod accepted measures exactly 0.45 inch. Print three kits, insert a one quarter twenty nut into the square hole. Place the small square at the end of the screw (one quarter twenty by three quarters) to prevent damage to the shelf unit. An M6 nut and screw will undoubtedly work seamlessly.
